You said all was land combat and thats not correct. Pretty much all of the TT was land combat, Man O War is a now out-of-print game was set in the same realm of Warhammer Fantasy but is a different game altogether (The 1993 dice rolling version of Man O' War included), Warhammer Fantasy Battle is the one that CA is useing the lisence for. Elves, Marienburg as trading city, Norsca invaders, Zombiepirates, Dwarves of Barak Varr, etc. Seafaring was always a big thing in Warhammer and theres a lot of lore about it. There where rules for ship fights brought with the White Dwarf and theres a old Naval Battle Tabletop in the Warhammer World called Man O War, theres even a game for it here on steam and ships always played a role. Zoie Shales a écrit :I personally doubt CA will do anything touching naval combat or anything more involveing the oceans for that matter, the Warhammer Fantasy Battle tabletop game which the TW:Warhammer games are based on was all land combat and that's what I beleive CA is focusing on. I just can't stop thinking about how awesome it could be to travel the campaign map with sea bonuses, treasure finding, raiding ports and having our own factions to specialize in these. If you have any other factions, or ideas, please post some. City of Pirates (Not included in Mortal Empires map?).Maybe inlcuding port bonuses, raiding foreign starting areas, and so on could really bring out a new playstyle to the game. I understand there are not Naval battles in TW:Warhammer 2, or the first, but I feel that with such a large oceanic map, and some campaign features like storms, attrition at seas, treasure, islands, and ports with trade we could really see factions getting either introduced or remodeled for a open seas dlc. Now that we're playing in a campaign map that includes treasure hunting, storms, and more open sailing unlike TW:Warhammer's campaign maps, do you feel that CA will bring in DLC that introduces factions that support more of a Naval approach to the campaign map?
